Supervisor, Automotive Account Management Team (Remote)
Job Description
Sinclair Digital Group is looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager with expertise in the operations and marketing of auto dealerships to help lead our automotive account management team as a team supervisor. The person in this position will become an integral part of our company-wide sales initiative focused on the tier 3 auto business. We are looking for a strategic communicator with a proven record of using data and category knowledge to maintain and grow client relationships in this highly competitive vertical. The winning candidate will quickly gain expertise into internal systems, processes, and business review tools. With intimate involvement in all post sale servicing efforts, they will proactively monitor existing campaigns/partnerships, be a leader in resolving and managing campaign and client relationship issues and communicate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure strong retention of existing business. Job Duties:
- Serve as the lead for the onboarding of all new account managed accounts
- Collaborate with the Director of Account Management on which clients are best suited for Account Management
- Will manage large VIP accounts
- Help determine the appropriate account manager assignments based on bandwidth, skillset, and personality match
- Provide feedback to the Director of Account Management on annual performance reviews for all account managers
- Continually review, identify gaps and challenges, and work to improve our overall processes
- Go over accounts monthly to identify upcoming contract expirations and proactively work with stations on renewals
- Work with account managers and junior account managers on identifying campaigns in jeopardy of under delivery and/or delayed starts to ensure they reach contracted impressions/allocated budget spend. Escalate as needed
- Conduct formal 1:1 weekly meetings with the account managers to receive account updates, discuss performance, and provide guidance as needed
- Make sure all account managers are responsive to vendor requests and communications and addressing them quickly
- Look for areas of account growth through the addition of products/tactics and/or budget increases while staying in line with client strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in senior-level client relationships
- 3-5 years of experience in digital media marketing products, including expertise in platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and OTT
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining robust client relationships
- Highly process-oriented, organized, and adept at multitasking
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Adept at creative and entrepreneurial thinking
- Proven track record of being solutions-oriented
- Familiarity with the auto dealership landscape and key business drivers a plus
- Proficiency in Jira program management a plus

The base salary compensation range for this role is $68,000 to $78,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
